About International Education Week and InternationalEducationWeek.com
In celebration of International Education Week 2007 (November 12-16), StudyAbroad.com brings you InternationalEducationWeek.com.
International Education Week is a joint effort between the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State in order to promote and celebrate multiculturalism and international education. The SPECIAL Week was first established in the year 2000 by the Clinton Administration. Throughout International Education Week, campuses, embassies and communities are encouraged to hold activities celebrating international education and diversity.
The Department of Education and the Department of State have an official website dedicated to International Education Week and an official International Education Week Event Calendar. InternationalEducationWeek.com also lists a comprehensive resource page with relevant organizations' information and links.
InternationalEducationWeek.com was created by StudyAbroad.com in order to promote and celebrate international education. StudyAbroad.com is the number one online resource of study abroad information. While this site is not affiliated with the Department of Education or the Department of State, it strives to provide accurate and reliable information.
